As global demand for edible oil continues to rise and food safety standards grow increasingly stringent, edible oil quality and safety have become a focal point of international concern. Recently, exciting news came from Ausca International Oils and Grains Co., Ltd. that Myande’s nano cavitation system has been successfully put into operation in the company’s 800 TPD soybean oil refining line, achieving outstanding performance with all key indicators significantly exceeding EU standards.
In the sweltering heat of August in Hainan, Myande and Ausca’s technical teams worked closely together, overcoming extreme temperatures and maintaining high-intensity operations day and night. As a result, the installation was completed smoothly and commissioning succeeded on the first attempt. The nano cavitation system has since been running stably processing multiple oils, including corn oil, peanut oil, and sunflower oil with capacity ranging from 100 to 1,200 TPD. It features stable operation, proven reliability, and a high level of technical maturity—significantly improving oil quality while minimizing the consumption of auxiliary materials and helping clients achieve both quality enhancement and cost efficiency.
Production data shows the system's outstanding performance in reducing auxiliary material consumption: phosphoric acid usage decreased by 60%, alkali by 50%, and wash water by 40%, all reaching internationally advanced levels. Product quality also improved significantly: soap content in de-soaped oil was reduced from 600–900 ppm to below 500 ppm; phosphorus content in neutralized oil was ≤3 ppm; acid value in refined oil was ≤0.05; and both 3-MCPDE and GEs were ≤0.5 ppm, all notably superior to EU limits.
As a leading enterprise in China edible oil machinery and engineering industry, Myande has long adhered to a strategy of innovation-driven development and has achieved a series of breakthroughs in vegetable oil processing machinery. The independently developed nano cavitation system offers significant advantages in energy savings and quality improvement. It supports flexible switching between acid-enhanced and alkali-enhanced process routes depending on crude oil characteristics. Compared to traditional refining methods, the system delivers outstanding results in reducing acid and alkali consumption, increasing oil yield, and effectively lowering levels of contaminants such as zearalenone, aflatoxins, and other harmful micro-compounds. The technology has obtained 10 patents (including 3 invention patents), filling a market gap on the domestic market and replacing imported systems.
It is worth noting that during a recent scientific and technological achievement evaluation meeting, an expert panel conducted a thorough review of three of Myande’s major innovations, including the “Nanocavitation System Process and Complete Set of Equipment.” The panel unanimously concluded that the technology has reached the “internationally advanced” level, marking a significant breakthrough in the field of edible oil refining.
Today, “appropriate processing” and “quality enhancement with efficiency improvement” have become industry wide goals. The successful application of the nano cavitation system is expected to expand to more oil enterprises. It not only helps companies reduce production costs and enhance product competitiveness, but also plays a vital role in promoting sustainable green development.
Looking forward, Myande will continue focusing on energy-saving, health, and safety technologies in grain and oil processing. Driven by innovation, the company aims to advance grain and oil industry toward high-end, intelligent, and high-quality development.
