Myande Receives Delegation of Experts and Entrepreneurs from the Oilseed Branch of the China Leading Agricultural Industrialization Enterprises Association

On August 7th to 8th, "the 3rd Annual Conference & Industrial Development Exchange Conference of the Oilseed Branch of the China Leading Agricultural Industrialization Enterprises Association," hosted by the Oilseed Branch and organized by Myande Group, was successfully held in Yangzhou. This grand gathering brought together leaders from relevant industry authorities, industry experts, scholars, and representatives from major domestic oil processing enterprises to discuss the development strategy of the oilseed industry and chart a blueprint for its future.


Discussing a New Future for the Industry Led by Innovation



The conference commenced at 8:30 AM on the 8th at the Yangzhou Zhongxing Tiancheng International Hotel. Centered around the theme "Innovation Leads the Way, Jointly Building a New Future for the Oilseed Industry," this conference focused on industry hotspots and cutting-edge technologies. The event was formally opened with addresses by Mr. Jin Qihong, former Director of the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission (SASAC) Office of Government Services, Vice President of the China Leading Agricultural Industrialization Enterprises Association, and President of its Food Security Branch, as well as Mr. Wang Mu, Party Committee Secretary and Vice Chairman of the Myande Group. The conference was officially inaugurated following a report delivered by Mr. Xiang Hai, President of the Oilseed Branch.


Industry experts at the conference presented insightful reports on topics including the analysis of domestic and international oilseed market trends, the application of new technologies and equipment in oil processing, and advances in oil nutrition and health research. These presentations provided attendees with highly valuable industry insights and development ideas, sparking lively interaction and a fruitful exchange of perspectives.


Following the conference, the delegates collectively visited Myande's intelligent manufacturing plant.



Ushering in a New Chapter of Healthy Development through 'Scientific Oil Use'


During the conference, a significant public welfare initiative—"Scientific Oil Consumption Brings Health into Millions of Homes"—was officially launched, garnering widespread attention from participants and the broader community. The grand launch ceremony not only provided a high-level exchange platform for the oilseed industry and pointed out its development direction but also marked the beginning of a new chapter where the industry serves public health.



Promoting the popularization of scientific oil use concepts is a crucial part of achieving the strategic goal of "Healthy China" and a shared social responsibility for enterprises across the edible oils industry chain. The World Health Organization called for the global phased elimination of industrially produced trans-fatty acids from food supplies by 2023. EU regulations set the limit for glycidyl esters (GE) in vegetable oils at 1.0 mg/kg, and at 0.5 mg/kg for oils used in infant food; they also recommend setting the limit for 3-monochloropropane-1,2-diol esters (3-MCPD) in vegetable oils at 1.25 mg/kg, and at 0.75 mg/kg for infant formula and follow-on formula. In recent years, Chinese market regulatory authorities have significantly strengthened supervision over relevant indicators in edible oils.



Mr. Liang Chunsong, Chief Engineer of Myande's Engineering Technology Center, shared at the conference that through 22 years of engineering practice and undertaking numerous multi-variety oil refining production lines at home and abroad, Myande has continuously pursued technological innovation. Adhering to the principle of "Producing More Oil, Producing Better Oil," Myande has developed a Nanocavitation Reaction Device and a "Dual-Zero & Dual-Low" Variable Temperature Deodorization System, for which it has obtained invention patents. The application of this system can effectively enhance oil quality, ensuring quality indicators comply with EU standards and new stringent national quality control requirements, thereby improving the stability of oil product quality.



Deeply cultivation in the oil processing field for 22 years, Myande has accumulated extensive experience in precise processing technology and equipment for edible oil refining, achieving a qualitative leap from following to leading. In practical applications, the refining process using the Myande-developed Nanocavitation Device reduces acid usage by 60% and reduces deodorized oil glycidyl esters by over 0.3 mg/kg. The "Dual-Zero & Dual-Low" Variable Temperature Deodorization System minimizes the impact of high temperatures on oil, the residence time in the deodorizer heater is less than 30 seconds, high-temperature heat exchange time becomes short, the deodorizer tower vacuum ranges from 0.5 to 1.5 mbar, and deacidification efficiency is higher. This effectively reduces the formation of harmful substances such as trans-fatty acids, 3-MCPD esters, and glycidyl esters. These two technologies have already achieved "zero trans-fatty acids" in the processing of multiple oil varieties, with glycidyl esters and 3-MCPD esters levels superior to EU standards, significantly enhancing oil quality.
