Myande has successfully delivered a 300 TPD paprika pigment extraction line and a 200 TPD marigold lutein extraction line, delivering an integrated processing facility designed to improve automation, process stability and product consistency.
The project combines customized equipment, intelligent process control and coordinated project execution to reduce reliance on manual operations and support the efficient, standardized processing of natural pigments.
The project achieved full-capacity operation and met all specified performance targets within 72 hours of commissioning, with final project acceptance completed just 7 days after stable production began. This rapid delivery was made possible by three key engineering measures:
🔸Raw Material-Specific Design: Worked closely with the customer to understand the processing characteristics of paprika and marigold, identify operational challenges and tailor equipment designs accordingly.
🔸Core Equipment Optimization: Optimized key equipment structures, including processing chambers, material flow channels, bed-depth control components, and spraying and drainage systems. The extraction, drying and conveying systems were also refined.
🔸Improved Operational Stability: Enhanced equipment and system performance to simplify on-site commissioning, reduce start-up challenges and accelerate the path to stable production.

The entire production line is equipped with Myande’s automated control and process monitoring systems, providing comprehensive oversight throughout production.
🔸Automated process control: Precise control of equipment operating parameters across the production line.
🔸Real-time monitoring: Continuous, 24-hour monitoring of operating conditions.
🔸Production traceability: End-to-end recording and traceability of production data.
The intelligent control system automatically adjusts process parameters according to the operating requirements of paprika pigment and marigold lutein extraction. This helps reduce manual operating errors, delays in parameter adjustments and inconsistencies caused by differences in operator experience.
As a result, the system supports more stable processing conditions and consistent product quality.
Timely commissioning was a key requirement for the project. Paprika peppers and marigold flowers have concentrated harvest periods, leaving a limited window for processing freshly harvested raw materials. Delays in commissioning could affect raw material utilization and production efficiency.
Construction began in April, with Myande’s project team coordinating installation, equipment integration and on-site commissioning under challenging site conditions. The project involved complex processing requirements, highly integrated equipment and multiple overlapping construction and installation activities.
Throughout the project, Myande maintained close communication with the customer, providing regular progress updates, responding promptly to on-site issues and adjusting construction plans as required. Construction, commissioning, corrective work and acceptance activities were coordinated to keep the project on schedule.
The project was delivered and accepted in September, enabling the customer to prepare for the harvest season and make effective use of the available raw material processing window.
Myande has extensive experience in oilseed extraction and the engineering of continuous extraction systems. Building on this technical foundation, the company has adapted its extraction expertise to natural pigment production.
For this project, Myande optimized equipment structures and process parameters to address the heat sensitivity and distinct physicochemical properties of paprika pigments and lutein from marigold flowers.
The resulting solution combines the established advantages of Myande’s extraction technology in operational reliability and energy efficiency with process configurations tailored to natural pigment recovery.
This project marks a further application of Myande’s extraction engineering capabilities in the natural ingredients sector, providing an integrated engineering solution for specialty agricultural processing.
Myande continues to invest in process engineering, customized equipment and intelligent manufacturing solutions to address the requirements of different raw materials and production environments.
Guided by its corporate purpose of “Empowering Global Grain, Oil and Food Security and Bio-products Processing with Innovative Technologies, Safeguarding a Better Life for Humanity,” Myande will continue to develop specialized processing technologies and integrated solutions that help customers improve operational efficiency, product consistency and production reliability.
Through ongoing innovation and engineering collaboration, Myande aims to support the efficient, intelligent and sustainable development of specialty agricultural processing.
