Embracing Safety, Health and Green Manufacturing

On 9th October, Myande held its quarterly all-employee health and safety education and training session organized by the company’s safety committee. As usual, this quarter’s health and safety activities aim to further enhance all-round safety management level of Myande Group and to actively involve all employees in the company’s initiative to create a healthy, safe, and green environment.

The meeting was chaired by Production Director Mr. Mao Weijiang and all Myande employees participated. Those working on project sites outside the company, both in China and overseas, and employees of Myande’s regular subcontractors participated online. This quarter’s session started with a speech by Mr. Xu Bin, Myande Chairman of Board of Directors in which he called on all staff to active action to cultivate a safety culture of Myande. He reiterated Myande’s safety vision which is “to embrace safety, health, and green environment, and to be a respectable and responsible international company". Achieve this goal, he said, requires ensuring safety of employees and subcontractors during the execution of their tasks, ensuring safety of mechanical products that the company provides throughout their life cycle, and realization of green & low-carbon manufacturing for the protection of the environment for our own sake and for the sake of the future generations.

In order to realize the vision, we should establish safety goals, safety systems, a strict safety goal responsibility system and make safety commitments. The entire management team should be both the manager and the person in charge of safety. All employees realize that safety is more important than Mount Tai.

Mr. Ge Xingzhi from the Manufacturing Centre and Mr. Xiao Zhenxiao, Delivery Director, conducted training on "Myande Factory Safety" and " Safety of Project Delivery". All the participants reviewed relevant safety regulations, as well as the guidelines and operational practices for the identification of hidden dangers, hierarchical control of safety risks, and general and high-risk work protection during the manufacturing and installation processes.

Finally, Mr. Mao Weijiang, Production Director, released the "Myande Safety Committee Organization Structure and Factory Safety Grid Management Responsibility Area", and led all the staff to take a safety oath, make a commitment to safety, and strengthen safety awareness.
