High-Tech Innovation Reshapes the Grain and Oil Processing Industry

On March 20, Myande unveiled its "Academician Grain & Oil Deep Processing Innovation Center", marking the company’s third major R&D platform following last month’s launch of the "Myande Innovation Center" and the "Biomanufacturing Technology and Equipment Research Center". These milestones is symbolic of  Myande’s persevering commitment to promote technological innovation in the industry.


Pioneering Research Led by Top Experts
The Grain and Oil Deep Processing Innovation Center is led by Academician Jin Zhengyu and his team, focusing on modified starch, starch sugars, and derivatives. The center aims to tackle technical challenges, achievement transformation, and cultivate talent. " We will work closely with Myande to provide targeted solutions for bottlenecks across production, testing, and sales," said Academician Jin.


Meanwhile, the Biomanufacturing Technology and Equipment Research Center, with Professor Chen Jian, member of China Science Academy as a leading scientist, has already formed a 20-member R&D team. By combining Jiangnan University’s expertise in synthetic biology with Myande engineering strengths, the team will optimize biomanufacturing processes and develop next-generation equipment. Collaborative projects—such as AI-assisted food enzyme design and high-efficiency biosynthesis of functional ingredients—are already underway.

As food technology evolves, grains and oil processing equipment is becoming more automated, digital, and intelligent. "Future systems will optimize production without manual intervention—adjusting through data alone while enabling flexible, diversified output," explained Dr. Qiu Chao, a key member of Academician Jin’s team.
